Day Treatment Services are the most intensive outpatient services available to children/youth with Serious Emotional Disorders (SED). Day Treatment Services are a strength-based program and focus on behavioral interventions provided in the context of a therapeutic setting. Day Treatment Services are based on behavior management principles and include positive feedback, self- esteem building, impulse control, anger management, problem solving, conflict resolution and social skills training.
Day treatment services is provided as an alternative to residential treatment to assist children/youth in a least restrictive environment. Our services are offered in the school district and at our offices. Additionally, Day Treatment serves children/youth that are transitioning from residential treatment and acute psychiatric hospitalization.
